In-house product · Wine inventory & AI

MyVinoLog turns label photos into a reviewable wine inventory.

MyVinoLog helps private wine collections with capture, storage and stock management. Users photograph the front and back of a bottle. AI-assisted processing proposes structured product data that can be reviewed and corrected before it is saved.

Turning labels into structured product data

A new bottle is captured with images of its front and back labels. ProWebSolutions sends the required image information to OpenAI through an API. The response returns as structured JSON and is mapped to fields in the wine record. A photograph therefore becomes an editable proposal rather than an unstructured block of text.

Recognition is deliberately not an unchecked automatic decision. Users review the proposed details, correct them where necessary and only then accept the record. This combines faster capture with appropriate control when labels are difficult to read or information is ambiguous.

Storage locations and real stock

Recorded wines can be assigned to storage locations. The inventory represents not only the product description but also where a bottle is stored and how many bottles remain. When one is taken from the collection, the stock can be reduced accordingly.

The application supports the practical lifecycle of a collection: capture, review, organise, find and record consumption. AI provides a starting point for data entry, while location and stock create the structure that remains useful over time.

Web application and Android app

MyVinoLog is available as a web application and as an Android app built with Capacitor. Users can sign in with Google. An iOS version with Apple Login is in development and is therefore not presented as an already available feature.

ProWebSolutions is responsible for connecting the web interface, camera workflow, API processing and mobile inventory. A free tier currently allows up to five scans per hour. A future ad-free subscription with a larger scan allowance is planned, but it is not yet an existing product commitment.
