More than an HTTP status
A page can return a successful HTTP status and still fail for visitors. StoreVigil therefore checks more than whether a server responds. Automated Google Chrome instances load the page, execute JavaScript, wait for dynamic content and account for lazy loading and required scrolling.
Checks cover loading behaviour, JavaScript errors, missing images and resources, basic technical SEO and selected accessibility indicators. The emphasis is on the rendered result that real visitors receive in their browser.
Locating issues directly in the page image
A technical report is easier to use when it shows the affected area. StoreVigil determines the position and size of a suspicious DOM element and marks that area on a website snapshot. Teams receive the visual context alongside the technical finding.
This is useful for broken images, obscured elements or sections that did not load correctly. Visual location does not replace diagnosis, but it shortens the path from an automated result to a verifiable place in the interface.
Repeated checks reduce false alarms
Websites do not behave identically on every request. Temporary network problems, protection systems such as Cloudflare or a single slow resource may cause a one-off failure. StoreVigil repeats checks before treating an observation as a reliable incident.
A direct server request and browser-based analysis are evaluated separately. This helps distinguish an initial delivery failure from a problem that appears only after rendering. Keeping those failure classes separate supports diagnosis and avoids collapsing different causes into one vague status.
Distributed workers and continuing page discovery
A central application coordinates multiple worker servers through queues. Browser checks can be distributed while the control layer retains the relationship between job, result and repeat attempt. Sitemaps and homepage links help discover pages that should be monitored.
StoreVigil also detects pages that are added or removed and keeps a history of checks. The current product explicitly does not use AI. Potential future AI content analysis is a direction, not a live feature. ProWebSolutions therefore centres the product on observable browser automation, distributed operation and evidence that a technical team can verify directly across repeated checks and use as a clear basis for prioritised corrections.
